Job summary

ONE Gas is seeking an intermediate-level Engineer to coordinate and perform engineering activities related to the design, operation, and maintenance of its pipeline and storage systems. You will collaborate with Marketing, Contract Administration, Accounting, Operations, and Customer Services to move projects forward.

You will use GIS, AutoCAD, Synergi, Excel, and other software to analyze capacity, risk, and asset planning, while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Two to four years of relevant professional experience; minimum one year required.
• Knowledge of piping plan standards and governmental regulations.
• Experience with math, algebra, calculus, and statistics.
• Experience using GIS, AutoCAD, Synergi, Excel, Access, Technical Toolbox, Copperleaf, Maximo, SolidWorks.
• Experience in Interpersonal/communication skills and customer service policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform engineering activities for design, operation, and maintenance of pipeline and storage systems.
• Coordinate projects among regions and departments, including contractors and outside agencies.
• Provide technical assistance on meters, regulators, equipment design, and pipeline modeling.
• Prepare information: design studies, capacity and risk analyses, bids and contracts, status reports.
