Job summary

BWC Terminals LLC. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to plan, budget, oversee, and document Liquid Terminal Projects in Houston. You will support Project Managers on large expansions, develop detailed scopes of work, and drive bids with tight cost and schedule controls.

The role collaborates with operations, purchasing, engineering, and vendors to ensure compliant, safe, and timely project completion. Occasional travel within the U.S. is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Finance, Project Management, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years in industrial, midstream/downstream construction or project management; owner-operated facilities preferred.
• Experience with ERP and project management systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, Maximo, Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple small to medium capital projects within approved budgets and schedules.
• Demonstrate knowledge of Civil, Structural, Mechanical/Piping, Electrical, and Controls/Instrumentation construction.
• Create and review engineering and construction documents (P&IDs, standards, specs, plot plans, isometrics).
• Develop detailed Scopes of Work for vendor/contractor bidding (RFQs).
• Ensure resources are assigned, informed, and trained; lead change control and risk mitigation.
• Monitor budget, progress, and cost forecasting; report variance and performance.
