Williams, based in Oklahoma, is seeking an Engineer III to manage projects that influence operations. In this hybrid role, you will define project scopes, develop concepts, and coordinate analyses to ensure reliable energy supply.
The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and at least four years of industry experience. Benefits include competitive pay, health coverage, and support for continuing education.
At Williams, we’re powering a cleaner, more connected future, and that starts with you. Here, your work fuels communities, drives innovation, and helps deliver reliable energy the world depends on.
As an Engineer III, you’ll work independently on projects and technical assignments that directly impact our operations. Your extensive knowledge of processes and ability to evaluate, innovate, and handle numerous projects are vital to this role.
You will help translate commercial opportunities, producer forecasts, and system constraints into clear project scopes, capital estimates, schedules, and execution recommendations for Rockies growth projects. This work includes developing early project concepts, evaluating pipeline and facility alternatives, coordinating hydraulic modeling and forecast analysis, and aligning scope, cost, schedule, and business drivers with Commercial, Operations, and other key project stakeholders.
The role is a hybrid role of project development and system planning. As a project developer you will lead the project definition, cost basis, schedule alignment, gate deliverables, project documentation, and stakeholder coordination, while as a system planner you will lead the gathering system modeling, volume forecast validation, hydraulic analysis, pressure/capacity evaluations, and technical recommendations that inform project scope and commercial decisions. Together, the focus is to identify constraints and expansion opportunities, and practical alternatives that support safe, reliable, and commercially aligned system growth in the Rockies.
