Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa is seeking an experienced Engineer II to independently resolve guest room maintenance issues, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot building systems across the resort. The role includes mentoring junior technicians and serving as Engineer on Duty when assigned, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

Responsibilities include handling HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, laundry, and pool/spa systems, maintaining accurate records, and supporting events

Competenze

• Pathway 1: 5+ years of progressive facilities/engineering experience.
• Pathway 2: Recognized technical or trade qualification in Engineering/HVAC or related discipline and 3–4 years of experience.
• Pathway 3: Associate or bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2–3 years of relevant experience.

Mansioni

• Respond to guest room maintenance requests and resolve issues with minimal disruption.
• Perform scheduled Planned Preventive Maintenance on guest rooms, plant rooms, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, and related systems.
• Provide technical support for HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen, laundry, and pool/spa systems.
• Guide and mentor junior technicians and act as Engineer on Duty when assigned.
• Maintain records of PPM, repairs, inspections, and parts used.
• Assist with event support requiring electrical, AV, and technical help.
• Ensure safety compliance and proper storage of tools and materials.
