Job summary

GeoSystems Analysis, Inc., a Trinity Consultants team, is seeking an Engineer I to join our southwest office in Tucson. You will support engineering analysis, design, and documentation for mine reclamation and water resources projects, collaborating with senior engineers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.

The role requires a related engineering degree and EIT certification, with PE preferred within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in an engineering field.
• EIT certification required; PE within 12 months preferred.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience preferred.
• Experience in mine reclamation, aquifer recharge, habitat restoration preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses and design activities for stormwater, hydrology, hydraulics, earthwork, and landform stabilization.
• Prepare calculations, reports, specs, and design plans under supervision.
• Develop design concepts and review drawings with CAD staff.
• Analyze topographic, geotechnical, and hydrologic data to support project design.
• Identify challenges, evaluate solutions, and present recommendations.
• Participate in field investigations, site visits, and data collection.
• Support planning, scopes, estimates, proposals, and technical docs.
