Job summary

Hunting Energy Services is seeking an Engineer I in Houston to support connection design and development from engineering plans through to testing. You will generate plans, perform analyses, and create drawings while ensuring specifications are met.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in design calculations and documentation. Experience with FEA is preferred and collaboration with Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality is essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in engineering design, calculations, and technical documentation
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

  • Generate plans and reports for assigned projects and tasks
  • Perform tasks associated with engineering projects, including analysis and development work
  • Conduct required engineering calculations
  • Create, review, and maintain engineering drawings
  • Perform physical testing and evaluate results
  • Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
  • Ensure engineering outputs meet customer input requirements and specifications
  • Provide technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departments
  • Assist Quality with evaluation and disposition of non-conforming parts
  • Participate in patent-related activities as needed
  • Engage in professional organizations and industry-related activities
  • Communicate and brief the Manager of Engineering on relevant issues and project status

Job description

The Engineer I is responsible for all support activities related to connection design and development. The duties include but are not limited to:
