Hunting Energy Services in Houston, TX is seeking an Engineer I to support connection design and development, generate plans and reports, and perform engineering tasks across projects. The Engineer I is responsible for all support activities related to connection design and development. The duties include but are not limited to:
Generate plans and reports for assigned projects and tasks
Perform tasks associated with engineering projects, including analysis and development work
Conduct required engineering calculations
Create, review, and maintain engineering drawings
Perform physical testing and evaluate results
Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Ensure engineering outputs meet customer input requirements and specifications
Provide technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality departments
Assist Quality with evaluation and disposition of non-conforming parts
Participate in patent-related activities as needed
Engage in professional organizations and industry-related activities
Communicate and brief the Manager of Engineering on relevant issues and project status
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in engineering design, calculations, and technical documentation
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Preferred:
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools
Familiarity with physical testing methods and standards
Prior experience in manufacturing or product development environments
