Job summary

Four Seasons Puerto Rico is seeking a maintenance technician to provide service and repairs to hotel equipment across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. The role requires a minimum High School Diploma with 3 months to 1 year of related experience.

You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest requests, and support energy conservation programs while upholding Four Seasons' standards of service and safety.

Qualifications

• Working technical knowledge of general building maintenance is required.
• Ability to operate computer equipment.
• Ability to read, speak and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating.
• Respond to inquiries and problems in a courteous and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Handle preventative maintenance of equipment and update logs.
• Repair motors, starters, breakers, chillers and related equipment throughout the building.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance in rooms or public areas in a timely manner.
• Assist with energy conservation programs and installations for renovations.

What you will do:

Provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons' policies.

What you will bring:

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and update appropriate logs .
• Handle all repairs of equipment including motors, starters, breakers, chillers and associated equipment throughout the entire building.
• Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public area in a timely manner .
• Respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc
• Clean all stations in Engineering, grease traps, plumbing stoppages and maintain an organized department and hotel.
• Complies with Four Seasons' Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact .
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
• Install or relocate any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
• Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Assist in the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

Who You Are

High School Diploma; College Education beneficial

Experience required by position is from three months to one full year of employment in the related position with Four Seasons or other organizations.

Requires a working technical knowledge of general building maintenance.

Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job or through a series of professional certifications.

Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment.

Ability to read and speak and write Englis
