Job summary

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, at the Vail location, seeks an Engineer to provide full-time, on-site service and repairs of hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, HVAC and safety systems. You will plan, organize and direct workflow for engineering requests to ensure guest satisfaction.

We value minimum 4+ years in plant maintenance, strong technical knowledge of building systems, and excellent communication. English fluency is required; Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years in plant maintenance and operation, including chillers, boilers, hot water and steam.
• Technical knowledge of general building maintenance including HVAC, plumbing and electrical; kitchen and laundry knowledge preferred.
• Good organizational skills; ability to keep work areas neat and safe.
• Ability to operate computer equipment and document maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building as required by operations or special projects.
• This role may respond to inquiries and problems to achieve guest satisfaction in a courteous, professional manner.

Engineer 1

About the role:

This is a full-time year-round on-site position. This role will provide service and repairs to hotel equipment including electrical, plumbing, steam, gas, fire & safety, HVAC refrigeration, interior, paint and decorating, and respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction. They will plan, organize, control and direct the workflow of the engineering requests.

What you will do:

• Responsible for repairs and maintenance of the building as required by the operation or special projects assigned by Director of Engineering and/or the Assistant Director of Engineering.

• This position may also respond to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve guest satisfaction.

What you bring:

• Minimum 4 + years previous experience plant maintenance and operation, including chillers, boilers hot water and steam, pumps, softeners, VFD, DB, pool equipment etc.,certifications preferred.

• Requires technical knowledge of general building maintenance including HVAC equipment, plumbing, electrical in addition laundry and kitchen equipment knowledge is preferred. Good organizational skills and ability to keep his working areas and storage in neat condition.

• Ability to operate computer equipment.

• This role has direct contact with guests and as such, good communication skills are a necessity.

• Fluency in English is required for this location and this job requires applicants to have current work authorization in the in the United States. Ability to speak Spanish preferred.

• This is a full-time position.
