Pratt & Whitney East Hartford is seeking an Engine and Parts Inspector for 2nd shift, onsite. The role requires basic dimensional and visual inspections of turbine airfoils and related components, ensuring material acceptance or rejection per procedures, and coordinating with maintenance teams.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of aircraft trades training or equivalent experience and familiarity with FAA-regulated environments.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of aircraft trades training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in aircraft engine construction, operation and related inspection methods.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic dimensional and visual inspection of production turbine airfoils and other equipment using specified methods and techniques.
• Accept or reject material based on findings. Transport parts, raw material and fixtures.
• Plan and perform dimensional, visual, and water and airflow inspections on turbine airfoils using established procedures.
• Verify accuracy of parts with standard measuring techniques and inspection equipment.
• Follow procedures to perform in-line checks and verify dimensions.
• Arrange for repair or replacement of equipment as necessary.
• Complete logs and quality assurance forms.
• Perform routine servicing following inspector’s checklists.
