Job summary

Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for the 2nd shift at our East Hartford, CT site. The role requires performing dimensional and visual inspections on parts and tools, using precision measuring equipment, and ensuring all documentation is accurate.

You will support SPC and quality initiatives, escalate complex issues, and maintain inspection areas and equipment. The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or equivalent and has 2+ years of relevant QA/inspection

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in QA or inspection.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional and visual inspections of parts and tools per procedures and drawings.
• Operate fixed and variable precision measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy.
• Record inspection results and complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Assist with SPC and other quality programs and investigations as needed.
• Refer complex issues to Lead or Supervisor and support continuous improvement.
• Maintain inspection areas and equipment and ensure they are calibrated and ready for use.
