Job summary

The role requires hands-on engine testing, instrumentation installation, and problem-solving skills, with experience using GMS tools and strong teamwork across engineering and lab support groups.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 5+ years of related technical experience.
• 2+ years applying Lean or GMS tools in manufacturing, lab, or engineering environments.
• 3+ years installing/removing engines on dynamometers.
• 3+ years installing instrumentation and diagnostics on test systems.
• 3+ years installing/replacing engine components and performing testing.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety following procedures and promote safe work practices.
• Support daily operations and continuous improvement using GMS tools.
• Coordinate daily test-cell activities including priorities and resources.
• Execute gasoline and diesel engine dynamometer tests.
• Install/remove engines and perform related mechanical work.
• Install instrumentation and connect systems for diagnostics.
• Collect, review and validate test data for accuracy.
• Interface with engineers on procedures, equipment, and test methods.
