Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Engine Test Technician to work in the Engine Dyno lab in Dearborn, MI, on the day shift (7-3:30 PM). The role emphasizes hands-on engine testing, fixture fabrication, and data validation in a high‑noise lab environment.

• Knowledge of engines and powertrain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide variety of non-procedural gasoline and diesel engine dynamometer testing.
• Fabricate basic fixtures and interface with engineers on updates or new test procedures, equipment and methods.
• Verify the calibration and maintenance of test equipment and test systems.
• Install engines on dynamometer, connect instrumentation, diagnose problems, conduct tests, change engine parts as needed.
