Job summary

Ingenium Technologies is seeking a Control Systems Engineer in manufacturing to design, develop, and validate electro‑mechanical systems and mechatronic devices aimed at optimizing engine performance and emissions.

You will apply dynamic feedback control theory, simulations, and testing, collaborating to refine requirements and document results. The role requires 5–15 years of embedded and product development experience, with Matlab/Simulink and GT‑Power proficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5–15 years experience with embedded systems and requirements analysis.
  • 5–15 years experience in product development and manufacturing testing.
  • 5–15 years experience modeling dynamic systems with physics-based or data-driven approaches.
  • Proficiency in classical control theory for MIMO systems (time and frequency domains).
  • Experience developing engine control for gas, diesel, and dual-fuel engines.

Responsibilities

  • Apply engine systems knowledge and control theory to meet customer specifications.
  • Develop and verify control algorithms through simulation and on-engine testing; document results.
  • Collaborate to refine engine control system requirements with process partners.
  • Develop and maintain MiL simulations using Matlab/Simulink and GT-Power for design verification.
  • Analyze and present data using Vector CANape, Matlab, and Python.
  • Deliver timely, high-quality simulation-driven analyses and actionable recommendations.
