Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation in Williamsburg, VA seeks a Facilitator, Learning and Development to deliver established learning programs for employees and volunteers. You will support CW Foundations orientation and help create a welcoming, learner-centered environment.

This casual, weekday daytime role offers flexible assignments with no guaranteed hours and requires preparation, use of PowerPoint and Teams, and adapting content for diverse audiences to reinforce our mission.

Qualifications

• Experience in adult education or employee training is preferred.
• Ability to deliver curricula consistently while adapting pacing and engagement for different audiences.
• Strong preparation, organization, and reliability for scheduled programs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate instructor-led learning and development programs for employees and volunteers across CW enterprise.
• Deliver weekly New Employee Orientation (CW Foundations) content.
• Prepare thoroughly using facilitator guides and materials; maintain knowledge of content updates.
• Manage classroom logistics and ensure a welcoming learning environment.
• Gather feedback and contribute to program improvement with the Director, Learning and Development.
