Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Education or related field.
• Valid Ohio Certification/Licensure to teach in the subject area.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Driver's License.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective classroom instruction and maintain continuity of learning during the absence of the regularly assigned teacher.
• Follow curriculum and instructional plans; develop lessons as needed; assess student progress.
• Deliver instruction in World History and U.S. History aligned with Ohio standards.
• Manage Current Events elective with balanced, nonpartisan discussion.
