Job summary

The Midland Hotel in Chicago, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking a highly motivated bartender to deliver memorable hospitality and genuine connections with guests. You will greet guests, craft beverages, and ensure a smooth, friendly experience from arrival to departure.

Candidates should have 2–4 years of bartender experience, current certification, and knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years bartender experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey with menu descriptions.
• Accurately take orders and confirm special requests.
• Master the bar details to enhance conversation.
• Work with restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests to resolution that leaves them happy.
• Finalize the experience with timely, accurate billing.
• Stock beer, wine, spirits and bar supplies.
• Prepare and present drinks following recipes and portion control.
