Job summary

The Midland Hotel in Chicago, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality, is seeking an experienced bartender to deliver exceptional beverages in a fast-paced setting. You will craft cocktails, upsell menu items, and provide memorable guest experiences while keeping bar operations smooth and efficient.

Qualified candidates have 2–4 years of bartender experience, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, and hold a valid bartender certification.

Qualifications

• Bartender certification or license is required.
• Knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits.
• Ability to upsell and create exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with beverage selections.
• Maintain bar setup and inventory.
• Prepare and present drinks with accuracy and portion control.
• Take orders accurately and handle payments at POS.
• Collaborate with bar and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
• Deliver an engaging guest experience under pressure.
