Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a highly motivated Bartender for the StateView Hotel, part of the Marriott Autograph Collection. You will deliver memorable hospitality from greeting guests to beverage service, building connections and ensuring guest satisfaction in a fast-paced bar.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of bartender experience, current bartenders' certification, knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of bartender experience.
• Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits.
• Excellent communication and guest service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive and move about the bar area.
• Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily.
• Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests.
• Be the master of the bar, understanding the details to enhance the conversation.
• Work collaboratively with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
• Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits.
• Stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and garnishes, juices, and perishables daily.
• Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks following standard recipes with portion control.
• Inputs orders into a register at the point of sale and creates a check for each guest.
• Locks up and stores all beverages, food and other equipment items, deposits cash drops and secures bank.
