Job summary

Members Cooperative Credit Union in North Branch, MN, seeks an Engagement Specialist (Teller) to be the first point of contact for members, delivering an exceptional experience and helping them meet financial goals.

This full-time clerical role processes transactions accurately, educates members on products, and supports community engagement. Starting pay is $18–$19 per hour with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and paid time off.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service or sales-focused role; financial institution experience preferred.
• Experience handling cash accurately and efficiently.
• Intermediate to advanced user level experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain financial products and services to individuals with varying levels of financial knowledge
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing demands, and deliver an exceptional member experience during every transaction
• Comfortable interacting with members and the public throughout the workday in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in resolving member concerns and de-escalating challenging situations with professionalism, empathy, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Support members' financial success by providing personalized guidance, financial education, and access to relevant resources and solutions.

Through a thorough understanding of credit union offerings, the Engagement Specialist educates members on solutions that help them achieve their financial goals. Schedule

• Schedule will vary, Monday – Friday 7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m. Occasional Saturday shift as needed, 8:45 a.m. -12:15 p.m.
• Full-time, 37-40 hours per week
• Pay is hourly
• Starting pay range: $18-$19/hr., pay commensurate with experience
