The Fedcap Group is seeking an Outreach Specialist to drive engagement for TANF participants in Washington, DC. You will serve as the primary contact for a caseload of 30–100 unengaged recipients and initiate outreach within 24 hours of missed appointments.

You will document activities in Fedcap Cares, support Case Managers, and promote participation through motivational contact while addressing barriers and sustaining engagement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of post-secondary education.
• Two years of outreach experience.
• Valid driver's license, valid insurance, and reliable transportation required.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the primary contact for a caseload of 30–100 TANF recipients; initiate outreach within 24 hours of missed appointments.
• Conduct re-engagement efforts and document activity in Fedcap Cares with 100% accuracy and timeliness.
• Support Case Managers by coordinating outreach on their caseloads and provide real-time status updates.
• Facilitate ongoing communication to promote work participation and accountability.
• Identify barriers to participation and elevate to Case Managers and supports as needed.
• Lead group program orientations and conduct one-on-one sessions when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of outreach, attendance, and milestones; support reporting.
