Behavioral Services of Louisiana, LLC is seeking an Engagement Specialist to support family engagement, intake, and continuity of care within the Family Support Organization. You will serve as a key resource for families entering services and assist in reducing barriers to participation.

The role focuses on intake, reengagement, temporary service coverage, and staff support to help families stay connected to services and achieve positive outcomes. Travel within service areas may be required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with children, youth, and families preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage families from diverse backgrounds and build positive working relationships.
• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn agency software systems.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within assigned service areas.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct intake, outreach, and onboarding activities for newly referred families.
• Help families understand FSO and CSoC services.
• Provide education on supports, program expectations, and family-driven services.
• Support families in identifying natural supports and community resources.
• Coordinate with referral sources, schools, hospitals, and other providers.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation for all contacts.
