Job summary

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) invites applications for the Senior Specialist, Programs and Engagement. This remote-eligible role supports domestic and international engagements across CAHSE, AAHCI, ACOL, and ORR, reporting to the Senior Director of Programs and Engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business specialty preferred).
• 5–7 years of related work experience.
• 1 year experience in working in the field of academic medicine or teaching hospitals (2–3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Strengthening mission-critical member management activities, developing and executing engagement strategies for CAHSE, AAHCI, ORR, and ACOL member groups.
• Coordinate CAHSE and ORR Administrative Boards and related governance processes, including data, meetings, and minutes.
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual meetings and events for CAHSE, AAHCI, ACOL, and ORR, including leadership development conferences and awards.
• Support member recruitment, onboarding, communications, and triage of requests across CAHSE, ORR, and AAHCI teams.
• Serve as primary contact for CAHSE membership applications and mailbox management.
• Assist ORR budgeting and travel expense processes; summarize expenditure data for budgeting and governance purposes.

Education

Bachelor's Degree (Business preferred)

5 - 7 years of related work experience

1 year in academic medicine or teaching hospitals (2-3 years preferred)
