This position provides operational and programmatic support for AAHCI activities and member engagement initiatives. The position coordinates AAHCI initiatives and operations that enable successful delivery of AAHCI programs and services. The position works closely with the AAHCI Senior Director, AAHCI Senior Program Specialist, and AAHCI Regional Offices to ensure efficient program implementation and member engagement.
Support the design, implementation, tracking, and evaluation of AAHCI program initiatives that connect member institutions, including the AAHCI Student Leadership Initiative, AAHCI-AAMC Global Workforce Advisory Panel, collaborative cross cluster initiatives including AAMC Affinity Groups and the International Advisory Committee on Artificial Intelligence, advisory panels and other working groups.
Manage the virtual AAHCI Community (Global Engagement Forum). Provide operational support for virtual activities. Coordinate webinar and virtual roundtable setup and execution. Conduct speaker identification and background research. Support AAHCI Connect coordination and participant communications. Assist with registration, scheduling, materials development, and meeting follow-up.
Support member engagement and communications activities, including: Newsletter production Publication support (AAHCI Leadership Perspectives and related communications) Member recruitment communications and outreach activities Social media content coordination AAHCI website audits SharePoint folder management AAHCI and HCA Roadmap
Includes innovation and process improvements, as well as flexible support and collaboration for special projects and emerging priorities related to AAHCI expansion and AAMC international strategy.
Bachelor's Degree in health systems administration, public health, global affairs, business, or related field.
1 - 2 years of related work experience.
Experience working in a member association.
This is a remote-eligible position at AAMC. Candidates may reside anywhere within the contiguous United States, excluding California, Massachusetts, New York, and Oregon.
$55,930.00-$65,800.00 Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors may include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, as well as internal equity, market, and business considerations. If a bachelor’s degree is required, related work experience may be substituted in some positions. One year of college course work at an accredited institution is equivalent to one year of related work experience.
