Job summary

iCrossing, part of Hearst Communications, Inc., is seeking an Engagement Manager in New York City to lead enterprise client digital transformation initiatives. You will guide scope, discovery, and delivery while coordinating UX, creative, and technical teams in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in complex, client-facing programs, strong Agile experience, and a track record of building trusted stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related work experience, major strategic consulting firm background preferred.
• Experience leading complex, client-facing digital programs from discovery and scope through execution.
• Experience managing cross-functional delivery across UX, creative, technology/development, QA, and deployment teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile or iterative delivery environments, including sprint tracking and backlog management.
• Experience serving as a primary client contact for program status, risks, decisions, and escalations.
• Experience managing multiple parallel workstreams while aligning delivery plans to client goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end the direction and day-to-day execution of client digital programs.
• Direct engagement team members on the account and coordinate with partners.
• Track sprint progress and manage program backlogs with offshore/onshore teams.
• Maintain project plans, resource assignments, and stakeholder communications.
• Ensure staffing and delivery plans align with commercial targets and client goals.
• Develop client relationships to enable trusted, long-term partnerships.
• Drive adoption of best practices and continuous improvements across the program.
