Job description

The Engagement Manager will be responsible for leading and managing large-scale, enterprise-level projects across a matrixed environment. This role focuses on delivering end-to-end project execution, from requirements gathering through implementation and support, while ensuring alignment with business and IT objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in project and program management, stakeholder engagement, and delivery oversight, along with exposure to Azure and .NET environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage large-scale, enterprise and strategic projects across business and IT teams
  • Oversee multiple parallel projects and manage dependencies and priorities at the program level
  • Collaborate with business units to define project scope, requirements, and objectives
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and deliverables
  • Ensure project delivery within scope, timeline, cost, and quality objectives
  • Monitor project performance, identify variances, and implement corrective actions
  • Apply project management methodologies, change management, and root cause analysis techniques
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and implement best practices
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to project team members
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and project updates
  • Manage project risks, resources, and quality assurance processes
  • Support business case development, cost-benefit analysis, and requirement definition
Required Qualifications
  • Experience managing large-scale, complex, and transformational projects
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and development methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with project planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a matrixed environment
  • Experience in process improvement, change management, and business process reengineering
  • Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
  • Familiarity with technical environments including Microsoft Azure and .NET
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications in project management or related domains
  • Experience in the insurance industry
  • Experience with business architecture concepts such as ER diagramming and system analysis
  • Experience with project estimation, risk management, and quality assurance practices
