The Griffin Museum of Science and Industry is seeking a part-time Guest Engagement Facilitator to deliver world-class programming and engage museum guests onsite. The role emphasizes public speaking, guest-first experiences, and adapting content for diverse audiences with a friendly, energetic approach.

Responsibilities include leading interactive demonstrations, guiding guests through experiences, and supporting museum operations to ensure smooth guest flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–2 years in program facilitation or guest-facing roles.
• Experience delivering engaging programs to diverse guests in fast-paced environments.
• Strong public speaking, hospitality, and ability to work with large crowds.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends and some evenings on a regular schedule.

Responsibilities

• Deliver programming and demonstrations to engage and inspire museum guests.
• Lead conversations with guests using open-ended questions to meet program goals.
• Adapt engagement to diverse ages, backgrounds, and knowledge levels.
• Occasionally guide group tours and support guest flow and orientation.
• Provide safe, inclusive, and positive experiences alongside museum staff.
• Perform core operational functions such as check-in and opening/closing duties.
