Job summary

Haven Health is seeking an Activity Assistant to work under the Activity Manager, helping develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate the activities program in Arizona. The position requires fingerprinting clearance card (or eligible), background screening, tuberculosis testing, health screening after hire, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds,

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting clearance card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing.
• Tuberculosis testing.
• Employee health screening (conducted after hire).
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing the activities program under the Activity Manager.
• Schedule activities for individuals and groups and help implement programs.
• Contribute to the development, implementation, supervision, and ongoing evaluation of the activities component of the care plan.
