Job summary

Haven Health is seeking an Activity Assistant to work under the Activity Manager, helping develop, implement, supervise, and evaluate the activities program in Arizona. The role includes scheduling activities for individuals and groups and assisting in program delivery as part of the comprehensive care plan goals.

The position requires fingerprinting clearance card (or eligible), background screening, tuberculosis testing, health screening after hire, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds,

Qualifications

• Fingerprinting clearance card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening, licensure verification (if applicable), reference check, drug testing.
• Tuberculosis testing.
• Employee health screening (conducted after hire).
• Ability to move, lift and transfer a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.

Description

The Activity Assistant works under the direction of the Activity Manager and assists in directing the development, implementation, supervision and ongoing evaluation of the activities program. This includes assisting in the completion of the activities component of the comprehensive assessment along with the comprehensive care plan goals and approaches. The Activity Assistant assists in the direction of the activity program, which includes scheduling of activities, both individual and groups, and assisting in the implementation of such programs.
