Job summary

TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, based in Houston, seeks an Operations Representative to support its dynamic trading environment. The role partners with Front Office and operations teams to ensure accurate execution of physical transactions and timely settlement across natural gas and NGL assets.

Ideal candidates bring 0–3 years of experience, sharp analytical abilities, and advanced Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 0–3 years of professional experience; energy industry experience not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and strong technical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Front Office teams to manage, optimize, and control costs across assigned systems and portfolio assets.
• Nominate and manage daily operations across pipelines, gathering systems, processing facilities, storage assets, and end-use markets.
• Identify operational issues, develop alternatives, and coordinate implementation with stakeholders.
• Communicate with internal teams, counterparties, pipeline operators, and service providers about daily operations.
• Analyze and validate operational data to ensure accuracy for timely decisions.
• Capture and maintain physical transactions within scheduling systems.
• Support commercial teams with transactional accuracy, invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Review contracts to ensure operational compliance and contribute to business development.
• Collaborate with IT teams to enhance proprietary tools and efficiency.
• Design and document improvements of operational controls and processes.
