Job summary

DRW in Houston is seeking a Junior Trade Operations Analyst to support North America Power trading and origination teams. You’ll handle the full trade lifecycle from booking to settlement, coordinating with traders, engineers and settlements to deliver reliable workflows.

This in-office role requires a bachelor’s in a quantitative field, strong Excel in large data sets, and Python scripting to automate processes. Expect daily P&L close support and favorable benefits with a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a quantitative field or related discipline.
• Strong Excel and data handling skills.
• Programming experience, preferably Python, with interest in building tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review daily and next-day P&L; explain drivers to traders and management.
• Book and manage financial and physical power, environmental, and softs trades.
• Schedule physical power with ISOs and counterparties; confirm schedules.
• Support environmental products, auctions, and registry accounts; manage deliveries and invoicing.
• Collaborate with settlements to resolve trade and invoice discrepancies; test system changes.
