TotalEnergies Gas & Power North America, Inc. in Houston seeks a back‑office Finance professional to manage trade confirmations, invoicing, settlements, and regulatory reporting.

You will reconcile deal sheets, verify trades with counterparts, and support treasury with cash forecasts while ensuring accuracy and compliance across the trading book. Preferred candidates have 2–3 years in gas/LNG markets, strong data analysis, Excel/VBA, Python, Power BI, and collaboration across Risk, Operations,

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in the Gas, LNG, and Energy markets with a strong data analysis component.
• Knowledge of energy commodity markets is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high‑risk environment.

Responsibilities

• Trade Management & Validation: manage trading counterpart portfolio and verify deal sheets/reports in BOOK
• Settlements, Invoicing & Reconciliation: issue/reconcile invoices within deadlines; provide cash forecasts to Treasury
• Confirmations & Documentation: process confirmations in BOOK; review for pricing/volume adjustments
• Regulatory & Market Monitoring: report OTC trades within 24 hours; monitor regulatory changes
• Counterpart Onboarding & Support: lead onboarding of new counterparts and mentor juniors
• Projects, Reporting & Improvements: contribute to management reports and system improvements
• Key Responsibilities: ensure timely processing of trade confirmations, invoicing, and payments; maintain trading book integrity
