Job summary

Aggreko in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Technician 1. Based out of the Cleveland service center, you will travel daily to customer sites in a company vehicle to install, maintain and service power generation and climate control equipment.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose failures, and execute repairs on diesel/natural gas generators, chillers, HVAC systems and oil-free air equipment. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

2+ years of hands-on experience with diesel or natural gas generators and/or commercial HVAC equipment, chillers, including inspections, maintenance and repairs.
Able to calculate nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements; able to read electrical schematics.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or DOT medical card as needed.
Physically able to move or lift objects up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

Travel daily from Cleveland, OH service center to customer sites in company vehicle.
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on power generators, electrical distribution equipment, chillers, HVAC systems, and oil-free air compressors.
Troubleshoot equipment failures at shop and customer sites; diagnose and repair.
Set up and operate equipment independently or with others, in shop or on site.
Work overtime and weekends as needed; potential for travel to support operations.
