Job summary

ENFRA LLC in Illinois seeks a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, specializing in retro-commissioning for multi-building portfolios in healthcare and higher education. You will apply deep MEP expertise and energy conservation strategies across the commissioning lifecycle.

You will collaborate with project managers and engineers, mentor TS staff, and ensure high-quality execution with a focus on documentation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and analyze complex systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance during data collection surveys and site evaluations.
• Coordinate site surveys to determine facility conditions and scope requirements.
• Develop energy conservation strategies for retro-commissioning projects.
• Assist design teams with integrating energy strategies for a holistic energy management approach.
• Review RFPs and critical equipment submittals to ensure delivery outcomes.
• Conduct commissioning reviews and assist in problem resolution across teams.
• Produce technical reports and help develop new project tools.
• Uphold ENFRA brand with excellence in work execution.
