Job summary

AutoZone seeks a Project Manager II - Energy to drive the company's energy strategy, optimize efficiency, and support financial performance. You will develop business cases, manage budgets, and coordinate stakeholders across Finance, Operations, IT, Legal, and Procurement.

The role requires turning complex data into actionable insights and leading projects that create lasting value. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy Management, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years in project management or energy-related roles.
• Strong understanding of energy systems and operating costs.
• Analytical skills to translate data into insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and leadership for executive reviews.

Responsibilities

• Manages and drives ownership of Maintenance CAPEX and CAPEX projects including solar energy and 25-year warranty lifecycle.
• Control project scope; document and approve changes.
• Track milestones and provide status reports.
• Lead, coach, and motivate project team members.
• Define success metrics and conduct post‑project evaluations.
• Develop tools and best practices for project management and execution.
