Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our retail stores well-maintained and safe. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across a designated area, with frequent overnight travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet AutoZone’s driving requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine store maintenance, repairs and safety inspections across a designated area.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and manage work orders.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment issues.
• Identify vendors and assist in selecting them; support energy management system diagnostics.
• Report store conditions using electronic media and manage work orders.
