Job summary

AutoZone seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician to ensure our retail stores are well-maintained and safe. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and safety inspections across a designated area, troubleshooting electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment issues.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• Skills in electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet AutoZone's driving requirements.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to AutoZone's dress code.
• Travel overnight frequently and maintain a safe working environment using PPE.
• Conduct routine store visits for building and ground repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor maintenance issues involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment.
• Report store conditions using electronic media and manage work orders for assigned stores.
• Assist in identifying vendors, perform diagnostics on the Energy Management System, and maintain vehicle maintenance.
