Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Field Loss Prevention Generalist to safeguard stores and support teams across a designated region. Reporting to the Divisional Loss Prevention Manager, you’ll travel up to 80% (including overnights) and analyze data, conduct audits, support investigations, and train store teams to promote integrity and accountability.

You’ll work independently in the field, collaborating with store leaders to reduce shrink, improve safety, and ensure policy compliance in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional-level LP experience; 3–5 years general experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the division.

Responsibilities

• Execute companywide loss prevention programs to reduce shrink and improve safety.
• Analyze store-level shrink data to identify high-risk locations and trends.
• Conduct remote audits and field visits to assess compliance and uncover risks.
• Collaborate with store managers and field leaders to promote LP awareness.
• Assist in investigations of theft, policy violations, and operational losses.
• Support the rollout of LP technologies and exception-based reporting tools.
• Train store teams on LP policies, theft deterrence, and safety procedures.
• Maintain detailed records of shrink trends, investigations, and compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
