Job summary

Redwood Materials, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Analyst, Energy Storage to support the growth of its utility-scale BESS business.

You will help develop and manage a pipeline of opportunities, support customer engagements, and contribute to RFP responses and commercial proposals. Work closely with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams; grow into a key contributor on the Business Development team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in energy storage, utility-scale solar, or related energy fields.
• Demonstrated interest in energy markets and battery energy storage.
• Exposure to commercial pricing models, RFP processes, or proposal documentation preferred.
• Experience with BESS development and offtake contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and management of a pipeline of BESS opportunities across customers and developers.
• Assist with customer engagements from initial outreach through commercial discussions and contract support.
• Build relationships within the BESS customer ecosystem and grow your network.
• Translate customer requirements into commercial offerings with guidance from senior team members.
• Support RFP responses, pricing development, and incentive eligibility analysis including ITC structuring.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Commercial, and Finance teams to support project definition and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records, track deal progression, and help prepare pipeline reports.
