Job summary

EMCOR Group, Inc. is seeking an Energy and Special Projects Consultant in the Phoenix, AZ area. This role provides information, interpretation, and analysis to Sr.

Account Managers, gathering equipment and project data, completing bid temps, and supporting the sales process. Together with Sr. Account Managers, you will focus on building client relationships and communicating the full range of EMCOR’s maintenance, repair, energy efficiency, and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ experience in HVAC commercial service or related field preferred.
• Relevant technical experience in a Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance environment.
• Strong customer presentation skills and a demonstrated sales aptitude.
• Financial acumen, inclusive of cost modeling for sales proposals.
• Experience in developing technical and cost proposals.
• Independent decision making is required.
• MS Office proficiency; strong Excel skills required.
• A valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and analysis to the Sr. Account Manager on time.
• Develop and complete written scopes of work for quoted projects/services.
• Perform site visits to gather information for quotes.
• Coordinate with internal and external contacts to gather project data.
• Collaborate with vendors to gather costs for services.
• Develop and complete bid templates for quoted work.
• Assemble project binders and materials for the Account Manager.
• Prepare and review booking packages, quotes and related documents with the Sr. Account Manager.
• Update documents and bid materials as needed.
• Help achieve written annual sales plans with the Sr. Account Manager.
