Job summary

Syserco Energy Solutions, Inc. seeks a Project Developer to act as the technical expert for Energy Solutions projects.

You will support Sales and Program Managers, consult with engineers, field specialists, electricians, and customers, and help grow the company’s energy services. You will oversee energy calculations, feasibility analyses, and EVA/IGAs while coordinating with subcontractors and applying energy modeling tools to quantify savings and prepare final proposals.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in mechanical, energy, or electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineer certification preferred; required after 12 months of employment.
• Experience with PFAs and IGAs; energy auditing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the technical aspects of the Energy Sales and Execution Process.
• Directs and coordinates the activities of Energy Engineers.
• Develops the technical aspects of PFAs (Preliminary Final Audit) and IGAs (Investment Grade Audit).
• Conducts energy savings feasibility assessments to pre-qualify facilities for opportunities.
• Analyzes data from audits to develop and calculate savings for Energy Efficiency Measures (EEMs).
• Performs energy savings calculations with energy modeling software; determines feasibility of EEMs.
• Develops initial cost estimates for EEMs for inclusion in project proposals.
• Prepares scope of work for subcontractor bids and assists in bid evaluation.
• Develops Final Investment Grade Audit Report / Proposal and M&V plans.
• Leads implementation of Retro-commissioning/Commissioning projects and coordinates with Sales.
• Maintains relationships with clients and utility programs throughout the project lifecycle.
• Recruits and develops Energy Engineers to support business development.
