This contractor role emphasizes end-to-end ownership from site assessment through proposal delivery, with flexibility to convert to full-time as the company grows. The role requires field audits, energy analysis, cost estimating, and client-facing presentations, with up to 30% travel and strong collaboration with engineers

Qualifications

• BS in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or general engineering.
• 5–7 years in HVAC, mechanical systems, or energy engineering.
• Experience with site visits and field assessments with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Excel for financial and engineering modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits and field assessments of data centers.
• Perform energy savings calculations and evaluate opportunities.
• Develop cost estimates and vendor quotations.
• Prepare proposals with technical narratives and exhibits.
• Lead client communications and project team coordination.
