Job summary

PowerSecure, Inc. is seeking an Energy Project Engineer III to lead engineering work for energy efficiency and production projects at customer facilities. You will oversee studies, analyses, and design-build construction from award through to implementation, coordinating with customers and teams across disciplines.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical system expertise, experience with energy analysis, and the ability to travel to customer sites for surveys and inspections.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with development and/or implementation of mechanical and electrical system projects in customer facilities.
• Responsible for site investigations, energy-use analysis, savings calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports.
• Manages engineering and design activities for design-build projects.
• Leads collaboration with customers, vendors, subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to drive projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility and system investigations to identify energy efficiency opportunities.
• Lead and finalize engineering studies and analyses.
• Support sales teams through technical customer engagement.
• Lead and manage design engineering efforts for construction projects.
• Prepare and finalize reports and project documentation.
• Comply with workplace and customer-site safety requirements.
