CMTA is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Energy Solutions team in Media, PA. This role supports energy performance contracting projects from assessments to commissioning and M&V reporting, collaborating with seasoned engineers to deliver measurable energy savings.

Ideal candidates have a background in HVAC or mechanical systems, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and are willing to travel locally for site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to travel locally for project site visits as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing and presenting project opportunities to prospective clients.
• Support client meetings, proposal development, and industry networking activities.
• Participate in site visits, facility audits, energy assessments, and engineering evaluations.
• Perform energy calculations and technical analysis to identify savings opportunities.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Support bidding and procurement efforts to ensure quality and competitive outcomes.
• Assist with contract administration activities throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with project teams and construction managers during implementation.
• Participate in commissioning activities to verify system performance.
• Support clients during project closeout and warranty periods.
• Assist in developing M&V reports and documenting project results.
