Trane in Tampa is hiring an Energy Services Project Manager! The Energy Services Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and are the established point of contact for stakeholders. The manager oversees a portfolio of projects, which may include both smaller and larger multi-building or complex construction projects. They are knowledgeable about the current job market and pricing strategies and support sales functions by developing scope.

Where is the work:

This position has been designated as Remote and work will be performed in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective actions, and developing communication plans with stakeholders to provide timely project updates.
• Lead all aspects of project administration, including adherence to contract clauses, analyzing reports to identify deficiencies, managing project compliance, documentation, safety guidelines, and navigating regulations at various government levels.
• Manage project finances, including cash flow, forecasts, expenses, collections, and oversee monthly backlog reviews.
• Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contracts, holding meetings, and establishing customer expectations, while identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
• Utilize qualified subcontractors, oversee RFQ processes, award and manage subcontracts, and establish communication guidelines for project progress and safety.
• Create and maintain project schedules with tasks, dependencies, and milestones.

Qualifications:

• Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Project Management degree, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with project schedules and construction management software.
• Alternatively, a combination of degree and 3-5 years of experience.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major violations, including DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless driving, or preventable collisions within the past 3 years.

Compensation:

Total compensation ranges from $90,000 to $115,000, including an incentive plan. Actual pay may vary based on seniority, merit, and geographic location.
