Job summary

Dunaway Associates Llc is seeking a Project Manager – Energy to independently lead natural gas infrastructure projects from concept through completion. You will guide multidisciplinary teams, balancing technical quality, regulatory compliance, client expectations, schedules, budgets, and profitability.

You will strengthen client relationships, mentor emerging leaders, and support Dunaway’s energy practice growth, while embracing a flexible hybrid/remote work model with a preference for

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant technical experience within a professional services environment.
• At least 3 years of project management experience with responsibility for schedules, budgets, and financial performance.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships and leading project teams.
• Experience mentoring Project Managers and technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage multiple natural gas projects from concept through completion.
• Lead planning and delivery of distribution pipelines, transmission pipelines, and natural gas station design.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant project delivery.
• Lead QA/QC reviews and ensure deliverables meet Dunaway standards and codes.
• Manage project financial performance, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Serve as primary client contact and coordinate meetings, updates, and issue resolution.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates with limited oversight.
• Coordinate permitting, entitlement, and municipal review processes as required.
• Plan staffing and balance workloads across offices and teams.
• Mentor staff to support quality, accountability, and growth.
• Support business development and client relationship management and pursuit activities.
• Partner with senior leadership to advance strategic goals and process improvements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
