Job summary

NYC Health + Hospitals, the largest public health system in the United States, seeks an Energy Project Manager to drive energy efficiency, electrification, and retro-commissioning across the system’s facilities. You will plan, execute, and oversee projects that reduce energy use, cut costs, and lower emissions in line with city and state mandates.

Responsibilities include managing design/construction, tracking budgets and schedules, performing site visits, and developing M&V plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with at least 1 year of PM experience.
• Alternative: high school diploma with five years of PM experience.
• Special note: design experience not acceptable toward minimum requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver energy efficiency projects and manage design/construction with consultants/contractors.
• Track projects with documentation, schedules, budgets, and energy savings reporting.
• Conduct site visits, verify scopes, and ensure contract compliance.
• Develop scopes of work and review energy audits/feasibility reports.
• Quantify energy savings and assist grant applications; coordinate M&V plans.
• Collaborate with facilities teams and contractors during design/implementation.
• Handle capital project admin tasks including PO issuance and payment approvals.
• Support M&V measurements and verifications per IPMVP.
