Job summary

ERM is seeking a Managing Consultant, Project Manager in the Gulf Coast region to lead transformative capital projects across energy sectors. You will guide projects from concept through delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance.

In this client‑facing role, you will provide strategic permitting and environmental assessment guidance, grow trusted relationships, and collaborate with ERM’s LCET network to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of experience in either a consulting environment or working substantially within the energy sector.
• Demonstrated project management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing projects with multidisciplinary teams and balancing multiple priorities, workstreams, and deadlines.
• Experience managing and performing multi-media permitting associated with capital development projects.
• Strong understanding of local, state, and federal permitting requirements and regulatory processes.
• Strong analytical, technical writing, presentation, and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, multidisciplinary, and global projects from scoping through delivery.
• Provide permitting strategies and regulatory guidance for complex infrastructure.
• Serve as a trusted client advisor throughout project lifecycles and contribute to business development.
• Collaborate across ERM's regional and national teams to deliver integrated solutions.
