Job summary

APTIM's Energy Transition team is seeking an experienced Business Process Specialist to support Home Energy Rebate programs, ensuring alignment with DOE and program requirements while improving efficiency across partner organizations. The role bridges operations and compliance to ensure processes, systems, and workflows are efficient, scalable, and aligned with program objectives.

The successful candidate will develop and maintain SOPs, process maps, QA/QC protocols, and business requirements,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in program delivery, operations, or compliance.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to translate complex information into documentation.
• Experience developing SOPs, process maps, workflows, and QA/QC protocols.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into end-to-end operational processes and standardize procedures.
• Develop and refine program processes with input from multiple stakeholders.
• Create and streamline processes to improve timeliness, quality, and customer experience.
• Document system workflows, data flows, and business rules for program systems.
• Support QA/QC reviews, compliance documentation, and audit readiness.
