Resource Innovations is seeking a Program Specialist for Communications and Employer Engagement in San Diego. You will lead outreach with employers, professionals in trades and clean energy, and industry partners to secure partnerships and enroll participants.

This full‑time role runs through October 2027 with potential extension based on funding and performance. The role involves managing trade show participation, email campaigns, content development, marketing collateral, and user‑experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of marketing or customer-facing roles in energy efficiency or trades.
• Willingness to travel within San Diego (2-5 times per month).
• Strong writing and editing skills for marketing collateral.
• Proven ability to build employer partnerships and recruit participants.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct outreach with employers and participants to secure partnerships and enrollment.
• Lead trade show and event outreach planning and execution, including budgeting and expenses.
• Develop and manage email campaigns and cross-marketing initiatives with other programs.
• Create monthly communications content and newsletters with the marketing team.
• Update marketing collateral and course catalog to reflect program changes and new offerings.
• Coordinate improvements to participant user experience, including website content and enrollment processes.
• Support social media strategy and internal marketing meetings.
• Identify new training partners and expand course offerings as needed.
• Handle additional programmatic tasks like data quality and reporting.
